We do not dismiss the value or importance of the relationship with a diagnosis but we do not assume it either.

Not labelling our services using diagnostic language is intentionally built from the notion that every experience is unique and people should maintain their autonomy when exploring this.

How long is each therapy session?

Therapy sessions are offered in flexible lengths to support your needs. You can choose from 50, 75, or 100 minute sessions, arranged in 25-minute intervals to create the pace and space that feels right for you

What therapeutic approaches / modalities do counsellors at Its Relational Therapy use?

Therapists offer Model Specific and integrated and personalized options, drawing from a range of complementary, evidence-based approaches. These include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Art-Informed Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy.

Where do I find the cost for counselling services being offered?

Does Its Relational Therapy offer direct billing?

Accepted Answer

We do not offer direct billing to insurance providers; however, psychotherapy services in Ontario may be covered under many extended health plans. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage. What options are available when booking a therapy session?

We offer both  individual and relationship (1+) therapy options. Currently all sessions are offered online.
